Reza Ebadi was born in Tehran, Iran and raised in Duesseldorf, Germany.

His beginnings in photography came from his interest in having everyday moments
captured for a lifetime through his lense.

After traveling around the world he moved back to Duesseldorf in 2004 and decided to became a professional photographer. He studied communication design at the
University of Essen, Germany and in addition to his studies, began freelancing in his home city. During this time, he assisted several German photographers and worked hard on
his portfolio.

In 2007 he found himself more inspired by fashion photography and his body of work
began reflecting that. In December 2008 he completed his studies at the
Folkwang University of Essen, Germany, a highly respected school of photogography,
where he received his Master's Degree in Photography and Design.


After this top-notch training, he is now working with agencies and magazines around the world (DEPESHA - USA, Riviera - RUSSIA, Memar -Tehran). He maintains high standards for all of his work, standards instilled in him by his teachers and from his work with international teams of photographers.
His first solo exhibition was in San Diego, California in 2008, followed by group
and solo exhibitions in Hamburg, San Diego, Milan and most recently at
Oxford Fashion Week in Oxford, UK.

In both 2008 and 2009, his work was published in the book "Blickfang - Germanys Best Photographers".



Reza Ebadi currently lives and works in Duesseldorf and Tehran.
